Correspondence (1 of 1)

Letter #78Afternoon
"

Here is the map which will interest you... I saw the King for nearly an hour this afternoon... I sat next the Troubetzkoy... opposite Arnold Bennett, whom I thought a bounder of the first degree.

Asquith sends a map with religious percentages. He recounts an audience with the King about the Irish conference, a dinner with Princess Troubetzkoy, and a late theatrical supper for 'The Great Adventure' where he met Arnold Bennett.

Mentioned:King George V • Princess Troubetzkoy • Arnold Bennett • Violet Asquith • Henry Ainley
