I have just come back from a huge official luncheon given by the Ch of the Ex in honour of M. Bark . . . Lloyd George & Montagu have come back from Paris . . . much impressed by the weakness & timidity of the present French Ministry. . . . I have thought a good deal of what you said about Winston & India.
